I can't stand Federico Fellini's films.
The reason why I got suckered into seeing 8½ is that it was used as a catalyst for
8 ½ Women. Regardless, I would've watched it anyway based on its bloated reputation.
Naturally, I knew the movie was going to suck, and during my viewing, I wasn't surprised at all. Nothing makes sense.
As a matter of fact, here's a trivia taken from IMDb: "All of a sudden, during the celebration, he [Fellini] got a new idea:
his film would have told about a film-director who was going to direct a film, but he forgot what it was about." No kidding.
All in all, Fellini's films are strictly for pseudo-intellectuals.
