4/06: Absolute Power is a passable film that's particularly weak when it comes to the story.

All I can say is "oh." It's not a disappointment, but the whole thing can be done better. I don't like how caricatural the Chief of Staff is when she's expected to behave professionally during the scandal.

Recruited from the best of the best, the Secret Service agents don't look credible. The performances are fine, but Scott Glenn is a much better actor than that.

All in all, Absolute Power adds nothing new in spite of Clint Eastwood's star power.
