4/06: Sensually unusual, mysterious, and romantic, Como agua para chocolate (Like Water for Chocolate) has one of the best cinematography I've ever seen.

What a brilliant direction by Alfonso Arau. It's the story that makes the film work. Terrific performances are rendered by the cast. Lumi Cavazos is perfect.

All in all, Como agua para chocolate is magical.
