Having caught Dementia 13 on TCM, I find it to be an intelligent horror film that's along the same lines of
Psycho and Les Diaboliques.
Moreover, it has plenty of twists and turns to keep me guessing, and the level of horror is unusual for 1963. There are traces
of filmmaking genius in Francis Ford Coppola. By the way, a better replacement for Patrick Magee as the shrink is
Marlon Brando.
All in all, despite what the critics think, Dementia 13 works.
