Freefall
11/25: Boy, the word "Interpol" is thrown around so much, huh?

Freefall has lots of twists and turns. It's also adventurous with some great cinematography whenever the characters are out in the woods which was really shot on location in Tugela Falls of South Africa. A few thought it was Angel Falls in Venezuela, but that may be incorrect.

Another highlight is the pairing of Eric Roberts and Pamela Gidley. They have good scenes together. It's actually hard to figure out whether or not the former is a good guy, keeping himself mysterious for as long as possible, causing the latter to go along with him since she has nothing to rely on. At any rate, I don't blame her.

Yet I hate the action. That's when the film shoots itself in the foot by straining credibility, almost past the breaking point. Once or twice might be enough, but it just keeps going on and on. Then, there's Jeff Fahey's character for a surprise which makes the whole thing hard to believe given that he's supposed to be an owner of a wildlife magazine. Oh hey...whatever happened to that albino guy?

All in all, regardless of the negatives, Freefall isn't boring and has juicy parts.
