Hellbound
5/26: Chuck and Aaron Norris thought money grew on tree by churning out dated rubbish?

Unfortunately, it would be two more films before luck had finally run out on them. Hellbound feels so by the numbers that it must be a repeat of an 80's Chuck Norris picture. This time, there are some ripped-off concepts from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and The Omen.

To be fair, Chuck Norris' acting looks slightly improved, but he needs better lines. The biggest mistake is the inclusion of Calvin Levels as his partner. What an annoying motormouth while Chuck Norris is either silent or ignoring him. Even one critic went so far as to say, "Just mute it when the sidekick is on screen."

Remember the infamous Cannon? This is the last film it ever released. Afterwards, the company went bankrupt. Thanks to Yoram Globus, Hellbound gets points for going to Israel for authentic location shootings. Then again, another critic made a very true statement, "It just shows that the now defunct Cannon Studios was willing to throw their money into anything, no matter how badly it was planned."

All in all, Hellyawn is more like it.
