Ishtar
9/13: I knew what I was getting into when I decided to see Ishtar.

However, it's not that awful as the critics had claimed it to be. Ishtar is a stupid film that falls flat on its face in every scene. There's a feeling of "yeah...okay" most of the time.

Comedy? I didn't laugh much except for several times during the first fifteen minutes. On the other hand, reading up the history behind the scenes of Ishtar is more compelling with Elaine May never directing a movie again.

All in all, it's fair to say Ishtar should've never been made in the first place.
