Opinion:
I am a huge fan of Jean-Claude Van Damme and consider him the best martial arts actor ever. Very easy on the
eyes, he was impressive in late 80's and early 90's films, especially with the splits. I wish the
quality of his output lasted longer because they were entertaining, but his downfall began in 1993. A few
are still my favorites: Nowhere to Run, Lionheart, and Kickboxer. As far as his acting
ability goes, it sometimes can be underwhelming, but there have been times that he's just right in a Steve
McQueen way.
Confirmed:
Was assigned to play the villain in Predator but got fired after two days because of throwing a temper
tantrum about how hot the suit was, having been replaced by Kevin Peter Hall.
Rumors: None.
