8/06: Pretty bad, yeah.

Mabel's Strange Predicament is about people pushing each other and running around while Charlie Chaplin is stone drunk. It has no comedy to speak of. In fact, I don't think anyone knew what the word meant back then.

All in all, The Birth of a Nation came out the following year, changing everything in terms of filmmaking.
