9/08: Oy vey...Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil is one of the worst pictures that Clint Eastwood has ever directed.

What a fucking long title. So is the running length which lasts for three hours. To me, it felt twice as long. This one is so dreadfully boring that it goes on and on and on and on. Where's the action? Where's the mystery? Where's the tension? What's the point?

Why is there so much screen time for Chablis "I Must Top That Bitch from The Crying Game" Deveau and Minerva? Kevin Spacey looks silly with the fake-ass toupee. Because of his mustache, he looks like that guy in the black leather get-up from the Village People.

I honestly don't care about the people who live in Georgia. Fuck their stupid University of Georgia. And I don't give a rat's ass about the history of the South. Who the hell cares about all of them? On the other hand, Jack Thompson's performance as Sonny Seiler is excellent, saving the movie from getting a '1' from me.

All in all, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil is an overlong hopeless mess.
