After seeing ten James Bond movies, I noticed, by reading the reviews, Moonraker was the worst of them all, and
so, I thought I'd better brace for it.
The assessment turns out to be untrue. On Her Majesty's Secret Service is still the number one for me.
Moonraker is rather passable but boring to watch. It's hard to believe Dr. Goodhead would pretend
to be a scientist at Drax's company and know it all when, in reality, he's just a CIA operative.
The worst part is when the lady, who helicoptered James Bond, agreed to help him procure information from the study and was
then hung out dry to death at the end. That has to be selfish and ignorant of him to do this to her. I can't
believe it when he and his female sidekick were launched from earth to outer space without helmets.
Of course, Jaws gets dropped like 20,000 feet through the air and lands without a parachute, surviving the fall. Eh is the
re-creation of the scuba diving battle, but this time, it's with lasers in outer space. For the umpteenth time, James Bond
has to put on his sleazeball charm to woo "beautiful" tanned women. *yawn* I'm really sleepy.
All in all, the James Bond franchise keeps hitting new lows.
