12/06: The Legend of Zorro is a mindlessly boring film and a total waste of time.

The plot makes no sense. Some parts have insulted my intelligence, and there are too much acrobatics and swordplay. The villains are weak and thus don't scare me.

As great as they were in the original, Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are too old by now. That's because seven years had passed. That being said, they should've given up on the idea.

Because Martin Campbell was the director, I knew what to expect, and my instincts were proven correct. The fundamental problem is that he tried to force me to like the characters or follow the story, however incomprehensible it was. As a result, his movies have always been a bombastic mess.

All in all, The Legend of Zorro is among worst films made.
