7/05: Regarded as the first zombie movie made, White Zombie is fair and coherent when it comes to the story.

However, the slow pace has cooed me into a somnambulistic mood, making me fall asleep. It has some nice background work, especially with the castle. Béla Lugosi isn't bad, but I feel he had taken the Dracula thing too far.

All in all, clearly influential on Night of the Living Dead, White Zombie makes for an okay viewing.
